Our client a Home Builder active in Hall and Jackson Counties are seeking a Director of Construction. This company is special as they do their own development including surveying, architecture and engineering and outsource the construction work to their selected sub-contractors. They employ superintendents who manage the subcontractors using Builder Trend. They currently have 5- superintends and are completing around 120 homes per year, with the goal of ramping up production to 350 per year. They are in growth mode, hence the need of a Director of Construction. We are seeking an experienced Director of Construction who has been an Area Manager in the past. This person needs to be a strong communicator. This position will report to the VP of Operations and lead the Area Manager & Construction Coordinator. There is a great deal of reporting, training in Builder Trend, creating schedules, launching project starts and running turnover meetings. This position is the liaison between purchasing, estimating, sales, accounting & superintendents and making sure the processes of the company are being followed. This includes setting up trainings and coordinating with Area Managers.

This is a position focused on the Atlanta market, and it is a 90% and 10% in field.

Minimum Qualifications Sought:
8 – 10 Years of Residential Construction; Production Single Home and Multi Family Experience
4 – 6 years as Area Manager
4 Years as Superintendent
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management
Experience with Builder Trend or similar construction software
Proficient with Microsoft products
Compensation
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 more possible for a perfect candidate
Bonus: $500/Single Family, $250/Multi Family Unit up to $100,000 yearly in Bonus
