The Opportunity
As part of their continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join the Estimating Team. This role is key to building and maintaining a strong pipeline of construction projects. The Estimator will leverage takeoff software to prepare competitive bids and proposals, while also fostering client relationships through business development and engagement.
Experience in medical facilities or data center projects is highly desirable and will be considered a major advantage for this role.

The Opportunity

This role is key to building and maintaining a strong pipeline of construction projects. The Estimator will leverage takeoff software to prepare competitive bids and proposals, while also fostering client relationships through business development and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for construction and service projects
- Participate in client development and business relationship initiatives
- Manage client interactions and represent the company at events and meetings
- Develop competitive strategies to secure project bids
- Solicit, evaluate, and follow up on subcontractor/vendor quotes
- Establish bid margins and support price negotiations
- Conduct job walks and site visits as required
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical estimating
- Strong background in medical and/or data center project estimating is a plus
- Proficiency in takeoff software such as Auto Bid Mechanical or Auto Bid Sheetmetal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Willingness to travel to jobsites across Metro Atlanta and nearby regions
